I have this baby coming in for review. I might have to bite the bullet and pull the trigger on it. I am thinking of moving a bit of gear to ease the brunt of the purchase. I need to thin out some of my stuff anyway. It is a 65 Reissue Deluxe Reverb Head Limited Edition. THey have never done the Deluxe Reverb in a head before and claim they wont again when these are gone.

the DR is great with good speakers.

I wonder why they won't build more? Looks like a winner winner chicken dinner to me.

Old guys will appreciate the lighter package.

Dev - Which version of the Bassman? I've got a gutted/rewired RI. Heck of an amp.

It's a 67 I think. 

I just don't have a 4ohm cab and don't want to damage it.

Just got home, the wife said "do it." She knows I played a Deluxe back in the day and have nostalgia lust. I did tell her I am going to thin some stuff out. Do I seriously need 3 4x12 cabs? Some of the effects are on the way out also. I am also dumping some of my vintage keyboard stuff. I never use it. I am more than set with just my SQ1.

8 would be fine, but might not sound correct.  Weber makes an impedance matcher if you want to go that way.

Yeah, end of the Blackface era...  Never tried one, but I bet it sounds righteous!

Did I say how much I like EV's?  huge grin  Probably would be Boss with the DR head too, just not for the 'ol back.

It's a silverface so it may be a 68 lol. I'd like to run it into a set of Swamp Thangs or Man O' Wars.
