C.J. Asher – First of all, thank you for this interview Emily! Tell me a little about yourself.
Emily Rain – Thank you so much for this opportunity CJ, the adult community has been so welcoming and open I feel honored to be able to do this interview with you. I was born and raised in the Midwest and moved to Arizona two years ago. I am a baseball mom that after my move turned amateur porn model. I love to perform and bring joy to others while being the center of attention.
C.J. Asher – How long have you been an adult film actress?
Emily Rain – I started this journey two years ago and have never felt so alive. I have been busy finding my way and learning as I go. I run my entire site while my lucky hubby does all my content.
C.J. Asher – What adult entertainment work have you done?
Emily Rain – I have my weekly cam show and have just finished my very first girl-girl photo shoot and am so beyond excited for my next shoot. I would love the opportunity to do film and am actively working toward making the contacts to accomplish this.
C.J. Asher – How did you first get into the adult film industry?
Emily Rain – I met Sunny Lane and through her information and encouragement realized I wanted to be a part of this amazing family. I had never felt so in my realm before. I truly believe I was born to perform, please and bring happiness to others all while enjoying myself.
C.J. Asher – How did you choose your stage name?
Emily Rain – I am a squirter. Emily Rain seemed to be a fit description plus it sounded so innocent and naughty at the same time. This is who I am, innocent and naughty all rolled in one.
C.J. Asher – Most people don’t know that being an adult film actress is really hard, physically demanding work! What do you do outside of the industry to relax, unwind and have fun?
Emily Rain – I like to go up to the mountains hiking and take weekend drives to explore all Arizona has to offer. Growing up in the Midwest, nature and outdoor activities were a part of daily life so making that connection here is very important to myself and family.
C.J. Asher – What television shows are you into right now?
Emily Rain – When I have the opportunity to view television, Ancient Aliens and Scandal are a couple that I enjoy. My mother was an avid believer in aliens and conspiracy theories and instilled that anything is possible kind of thinking in her children. Watching those shows always makes me feel closer to her.
C.J. Asher – What are your favorite industry-related events, such as the Adult Entertainment Expo, EXXXOTICA and gentlemen’s club appearances?
Emily Rain – I attended the Adult Entertainment Expo last year as a model for the first time and had the privilege of going to the AVN Awards show. It was everything I imagined and i found myself in complete awe of this amazing industry and the people involved in it.
C.J. Asher – Being relatively new to the adult industry, how is the experience different than what you imagined it to be when you first decided to become an adult film actress?
Emily Rain – It is a lot of hard work! Day in and day out. If you want to stand out and get your name, face and brand out there, it is non-stop! I really tip my hat to all the ladies doing their best and still going strong years later. I just was in studio for a radio Interview with Vivid Radio and host Christy Canyon. She has been in the industry for thirty years and, to this day, is one of the top websites. Vicky Vette… wow, she has really left a mark for women in the industry today. Such an amazing business mind. They work so hard. I hope to make a presence like some of these women and stay around for years to come.
C.J. Asher – What’s your favorite part about being an adult film actress?
Emily Rain – Knowing I am bringing pleasure to my fans and they are truly enjoying me. I love the fans and the interaction… performing for my audience gives me true satisfaction.
C.J. Asher – How has being an adult film actress impacted your personal and professional life? Do family and friends know you’re an adult film actress and what do they think about it?
Emily Rain – The adult industry has actually saved my life. My mom had passed away and I went into a deep depression. I was withdrawing from all my loved ones and fading away into my own darkness. My husband planned a weekend getaway for him and I and that’s where it all began. One thing led to another and I began working out, eating right, sending him teasing pics throughout the day. Long story short, we went to Las Vegas to see Sunny Lane and partied with her as her website members and there was no looking back. I entered a world where I came alive. This quiet baseball mom felt alive! From there I started tweeting, just for fun. Before I knew what was happening, my following started to climb and has yet to stop. My family for the most part knows. Each person reacted differently and I was very surprised by the ones who turned away from me. The ones I thought would reject me actually embraced me. They have actually offered help and support and made me feel confident that I have made the right decision and in moving forward in this business.
C.J. Asher – Who do you look up to in the adult entertainment industry?
Emily Rain – Many names come to mind but to name a couple I would say, Vicky Vette and Sunny Lane. I am in awe of what they have created. Their longevity in the industry is something to be so proud of.
C.J. Asher – What categories of porn do you prefer working in?
Emily Rain – Solo, POV. I would love to venture into girl-girl however I do suck a mean cock. How can I NOT do some sort of blow job or blow bang scene? I would love to do a “squirt-“off with a group of girls. How fun would that be?
