Cardinals Safety Finds Part Of His Middle Finger In Glove After Tackle

NEW ORLEANS (CBS Las Vegas) ââ¬â Ouch.
Arizona Cardinals safety Rashad Johnson lost part of his left middle finger during Sundayââ¬â¢s game against the New Orleans Saints.
According to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, Johnsonââ¬â¢s injury occurred while he was tackling Darren Sproles on a punt return. He realized what happened after he took his glove off and a piece of his finger was still in it.
Johnson had surgery Sunday night, as Somers reports that doctors had to shave the down the bone to repair it.
Since Johnsonââ¬â¢s bone was exposed in the gruesome injury, doctors will be watching for a possible infection to develop.
It is not known how long Johnson will be sidelined for.
To add insult to injury, the Cardinals fell to 1-2 on the season after getting pummeled by the Saints 31-7.
