I don't know what I was thinking...
#1
I asked a girl to go with me to an Amon Amarth and Skeletonwitch concert with me, and I don't think she listens to metal much...

She more or less agreed, (she has to ask permission, she's 17).

This could be bad. I mean, as far as metal goes, it doesn't get that much heavier. I'm just hoping it doesn't freak her out.

But she's pretty open minded, so who knows.

But still, DAFUQ was I thinking.

Hey, at least you put your balls out there and got her to do something with you. I've had enough missed opportunities that I should be taking zanax over it. Like when I was at Disneyland this week with my mom - we were eating dinner at one of the really fancy ($150 for two people) restaurants there. Right after we are seated, this adorable woman and her mother are seated across from us. She's cute as a fucking button, intelligent, funny, and we both shared a love of Disney. But she lives in Colorado, so what was I supposed to do?

Fuck, I need a drink or ten.

If it has tits or tires you're gonna have problems with it.

With that said, its good that you're taking her to a show that's entirely out of her element.

"Why?", you ask

Because what's worse? Taking her to a show and having the music scare her off, or playing it safe and pretending to be into stuff that you aren't?

If home girl can't accept that you like different things then she ain't gonna be into you.

I agree. Better to be up front with her. If this show doesn't scare her off, that's a good sign.

Or a bad sign.

Depending on her proficiency with bladed objects of course.

You'll be good, Chris. You have a good head on your shoulders.

Thanks guys.

I'm truly at my wits end with chicks lately. A friendzone here and a long bout of ignore me there.

It kinda forced me to say, "fuck it, let's see what happens.".
