Zsa Zsa Gabor decided to call it a life recently as she refused a liver transplant that would give her a 50% chance of surviving. The 93-year old suffered setback after setback from a hip replacement surgery she had in July. Before leaving the hospital, Gabor was given last rites by her priest and decided to return home to Bel Air to live out her final days in one of the best hospital beds for at home use.
Zsa Zsa broke her hip last month as a result of falling out of bed. She was released form the hospital, but blood clots developed afterward and she was re-admitted to the hospital last week. Gabor and her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, decided the doctors did all they could. Anhalt stated that he did not want to torture her anymore.
Gabor and her sisters, Eva and Magda, were famous for being glamour figures back in the 50’s. Zsa Zsa was most known for the phrase “dah-ling” in which she referred to everyone. She also appeared in over 30 movies and countless TV shows.
Zsa Zsa had nine different husbands, including Conrad Hilton, and her current marriage to Prince Frederick has been for the past 25 years.
