And now… the moment you’ve all been waiting for. Well, not really. I didn’t even know Britney Spears had a new song, let alone a video, coming out until I started seeing the comments on Facebook this morning. As someone who sported wood just by hearing her name eight to 10 years ago, I had to check it out, especially with the “she looks hot” comments I was seeing from the various Facebookers and Twitterers.
Needless to say, I’m a bit disappointed. In the song? Shit no. That was exactly what I expected… crap. I was checking it out to verify the Britney hotness factor. Originally, I thought I opened a link to what appears to be someone’s grandmother dancing around and singing with uber-obnoxious product placement all throughout the video. Who is this? Where’s the instant boner chick that was dancing around with a python draped over her perfect breasts at the MTV Video Music Awards?

Since Britney considers Madonna her a role model, I guess we will be subjected to this for another 20 years until she disappears like Madonna finally did.
Seeing this video got me thinking… when WAS Britney at her hottest? The astonishing answer is about 10 years ago. Yeah, 10 flippin’ years! The 2001 MTV VMAs was the “snake” performance. I can’t believe it’s been that long.
