Volition’s latest chapter in the Red Faction series, Armageddon, will be hitting stores in North America on May 31, and June 3 everywhere else.
This was revealed in a press release by THQ. The open world third-person shooter will be hitting the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The game is a direct sequel to Red Faction: Guerilla, and has the same collapsible building physics engine as before, but this time, for the first time in the series, actual Martians show their ugly faces.
The game is rated M for mature by the ESRB.
