The Halo Waypoint Twitter feed has announced that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition has gone gold, and is on target for its November 15 release, exactly 10 years after the original Xbox 1 version of Halo was released.
The tweet announces simply:
“Halo Anniversary has gone gold! Wort wort!”
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition takes the original Halo and gives it an HD makeover, complete with new textures and higher resolution, but keeps the gameplay exactly the same as the original 2001 game.
The remake will, however, include Kinect support which will accept vocal commands from the player.
