Jägermeister Brings Legendary Experiences to 2013 Rockstar Mayhem Festival

Jägermeister, a brand as deeply rooted in music as it is in mythology and lore, has been a proud sponsor of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival since its inception and this year is no different. Jägermeister is back with the best Mayhem experience to date which includes presenting the festival stage headlined by Machine Head, a legendary JagerWorld experience, The Metal of Honor Award, the brand’s first-ever Guitar Shred-Meister competition, Celebrity Chef Eat and Greets and daily artist signings for those of legal drinking age.

Jagermeister will continue to pay tribute to those who serve our country and will return as the presenting sponsor of the esteemed Metal of Honor award. Each day a deserving serviceman or woman will be chosen at random and presented on the main stage with a custom and extremely limited edition Jägermeister Schechter METAL OF HONOR guitar as a symbol of gratitude and recognition for their service.

To bring the glory of the stage to the masses, Jägermeister will be conducting its first ever Shred-Meister guitar competition, hosted by Huntress front woman Jill Janus.  Festival attendees can go to the Jägermeister tents on site and audition for a chance to shred for 10 seconds on the main stage. Each day, one of the 10 finalists will win a custom Jägermeister guitar from Schecter and the overall winner at the end of the tour will win a custom Jägermeister full stack and head courtesy of Peavey Electronics.

Artists performing at the 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival include Metal and Horror legend and festival closer Rob Zombie, triple gold certified Five Finger Death Punch, Mastodon, Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, Machine Head, Behemoth, Job for a Cowboy and more. The World’s Greatest Freestyle Motocross team The Metal Mulisha is also confirmed to perform on most dates.
