Boston Calling has announced big updates to its growing music festival. Starting this year, Boston Calling will be sticking to an annual, Memorial Day Weekend run, putting an end to its September show.
This weekends show will also be the last ever to be held on Government Center. Next year’s festival will be located in Allston at Harvard’s Athletic Complex (pictured above). With the larger space, Boston Calling plans to add more stages, a film festival curated by academy award-winning actress Natalie Portman, and much more.
Boston Calling has been bringing local and large musical acts to the area since 2013 and has welcomed over 250,000 music-hungry festival-goers since. Every year the festival gets bigger and better. I will be on site all weekend so be sure to stay tuned for a full review.
