Chili’s Grill & Bar Opens First Location in Turkey

Istanbul location marks first in country for one of the world’s largest casual dining brands

Brinker International (NYSE: EAT) today announced the opening of the first Chili’s Grill & Bar location in Turkey. Brinker currently owns, operates and franchises 194 restaurants outside the U.S., with locations in 27 countries and one territory.

The newest worldwide restaurant, located in Etiler, Istanbul, Turkey, will seat 220 guests and bring approximately 80 full-time and part-time jobs to the local community. Brinker franchise partner Istanbul Food Restaurants and Tourism will oversee restaurant operations and plans to build four additional restaurants over the next five years. Local businessman Cuneyt Demir is principal owner of this location.
