Easley Winery wins 9 Gold Medals and 1 Double Gold Medal

To win one gold medal at an international wine competition is a distinct honor for any winery to receive. Easley Winery has garnered accolades at six separate wine competitions in the last 5 months, highlighting wine quality produced right in the heart of Indiana. These competitions include the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the Jerry D. Mead New World International Wine Competition (NWIWC) of Ontario, CA, the Pacific Rim Wine Competition of San Bernardino, CA, the Tasters Guild International Wine Competition of Grand Rapids, MI, the Historic Newburgh Wine, Art & Jazz Festival of Newburgh, IN, and the Great Lakes Great Wine Competition of Farmington Hills, MI. Striving for quality has always been a high priority for Easley Winery since its founding in 1974. “My parents [Jack & Joan Easley] started as home winemakers and turned this passion into the solid foundation of today’s Easley Winery,” notes Mark Easley, second-generation owner of Easley Winery. “One thing has remained constant in all these years of winemaking: to create great wines, you have to start with great grapes. It’s a simple concept that has led to overwhelming success over the last 38 years.”
