Last week signaled the beginning of tourist season here in The Hub. 12 million people will pour through Beantown this year to take in our rich history, scenic beaches, and unparalleled nightlife. Our suite at the Royal Sonesta had a plush king sized bed in its luxurious bedroom. The suite also had a dining area for four and enough seating for a modest cocktail gathering. If you are not in the mood for cocktails in your room just heard downstairs. The hotel features two beautiful lounges. I was pleased to find many upscale beer options including Allagash Black on tap.
One of the most impressive features of this hotel is the view. You can’t get a view of Boston if you are staying in Boston; you can’t see the forest through the trees. The Royal Sonesta gives you a stunning view of the Charles River, Boston and is a perfect viewing spot for this year’s 4th of July fireworks.
