Since half the year is over, PornHub.com, a top online destination for adult entertainment, reviewed their 2013 mid-year report to examine the state of pornography in the United States. The statisticians at the ‘Hub have put together the following full-scale breakdown of the average visit duration for each state, as well as the top 3 search terms sought by each. You can check them out in the charts below.
It appears as though the “Dirty South” lives up to its reputation as Mississippi takes the crown for the longest average visit to the site. Mississippians average just a click under 12 minutes per session at PornHub at 11:59. The U.S. average is 10:51.
Bringing up the rear is Rhode Island at an even 10 minutes… a full 2 minutes quicker than Mississippi. A lot can happen in two minutes.
