I might have to turn the furnace on soon, it was 59 degrees in the house this morning.

No, but it was weird Lola was hiding like she had done something when I walked in. I checked the house for typical dog damage, the trash shit like that nothing. 5 minutes later the house starts shaking.

Back in 2000 we had a storm moving through, tornado warnings and all that shit. Instead of taking shelter, I was sitting on my bed looking out the window. Suddenly the dog and both cats ran into the room, jumped on the bed and huddled around me for protection. Normally the cats wouldn't be in the same room together, much less right next to each other. They knew something was up because less then a quarter mile away a small tornado touched down.

Something to be said about intuition.

Finally decided to turn on the furnace...yeah, it doesn't work. I'm getting "System Malfunction Contact Technician".

Sonofabitch, it's going to be cold for the next day or two. I'm not calling until Monday, I'm not getting ass-raped for a weekend service call. It's not THAT cold.
