I was gonna do the headstock black. And also I was gonna do the back of the neck vintage amber sorta. But I mocked everything up, and I didn't like the way the vintage amber was contrasting with the orange on the back of the body, so I decided to take it all off and do it with just untinted tru-oil.

As for the front face of the headstock. I tried black. Didn't like it. Tried old worn out brown too, sorta looked like roasted maple. Didn't like that either.

Decided to go with this instead...

Got the wiring almost finished. Just the final touches left to do when assembling it all. I used a crimp-on connector to use for the bridge ground wire. I'm just gonna stick it on one of the bridge pickup screws.
