Ken Scott was asked to write liner notes for the Tubes album he engineered. They wanted him to be sarcastic in the notes. He said he used Sennheiser ribbon mics on the bass drums. Of course, it was a joke, and Sennheiser got pissed off because of the huge amount of mics that were being returned with their ribbons blown.
