That's incredible, hope he got some honey out of the deal.
We get paper wasp nests under our deck and in our storage shed, Himself waits until it is dark and blasts them with Raid. Never had one that big though.
This summer we thought we had a pack rat living in the flashing under the deck, but it turned out to be a squirrel. Don't know which is worse - squirrels can do a lot of damage, but pack rat stink is hard to get rid of. Anyway, I removed a bird feeder that was providing sunflower seeds and the squirrel moved out.
