The mind boggles at this one: A guy trying to sneak in the dressing room of nude performers. What did he expect to see?
Women with their clothes on?

A few minutes before 2 a.m. Saturday, a Seattle police officer was dispatched to the Lusty Lady – the peep show strip club in the 1300 block of First Avenue.

A man there planned to crawl into the dancers' dressing room, police said. When they arrived, he was still in the ceiling crawl space.

"SPD officers arrived and contacted the suspect as he was attempting to climb down near the front door," an officer wrote in an incident report. "The subject … was taken into custody (by) SPD officers after he jumped down from the crawl space."

The man was booked into King County Jail for investigation of malicious mischief and had a probable cause hearing Saturday. But a malicious mischief charge wasn't filed, and he was released from jail Monday night.
Police were told the man, 27, entered the Lusty Lady through the front door backwards and entered stall No. 7. Police said he climbed through the ceiling panels and onto the glass ceiling above the dance floor.

A stripper "was startled when (the man's) legs came crashing through the glass panel ceiling above her," according to the police report. "She stated before the subject fell through she had heard what she thought was kicking or pounding above her head."

The recession has seen the street price of oral sex, the most common service, plummet from $60 last fall to $20 today. "Full service" involving intercourse has dropped from $150 to $80.

And it's not just street prostitutes who are being hit. Escort workers, both those with agencies and independents, report a 15 per cent decline in clients, says Valerie Scott, executive director of Sex Professionals of Canada, a volunteer group working toward the decriminalization of sex work.

As well, she says, the clients they do have are scrimping.
"If they had previously paid for an hour, they are now going for half an hour. Or they are having only three sessions a month, not four."
Toronto's sex trade workers began feeling the pinch of the economic meltdown last fall.

"That's been the vibe on the street since October," says Scott. "How we are doing is a reliable indicator of how the economy is doing."
Wendy Babcock, 29, a harm-reduction worker with Street Health, says the weekly prostitute drop-in she runs has been dominated by concerns about dropping prices.

She has noticed escorts dropping their prices dramatically in their advertisements on the back pages of local free newspapers.
An hour and a half in the prostitute's home with the client's choice of services "used to be $250, and now they are asking for $60 or $80," she says.

"It's not a lucrative career."

She's concerned that sex workers will put themselves in dangerous situations and "have to take more risks" to make ends meet.
Indeed, Carol, 32, says she is getting more requests for dangerous or unusual acts – such as men wanting to be choked, which she will only play-act – prompted by clients' exposure to Internet porn.

Broke Kiwi teen auctions off virginity for $45,000

A New Zealand teenage girl has auctioned off her virginity for more than $45,000.

The 19-year-old Northland student said it was to fund her university fees, according to the New Zealand Herald.

The student started the bidding wars on the ineed.co.nz website under the name 'Unigirl'.

Under the heading "Relationship For Sale", the teen described herself as attractive, from the North Island, and desperate for money to pay ongoing university fees.

"I have never had a sexual relationship and am still a virgin," her advertisement said.

"I am offering my virginity by tender to the highest bidder as long as all personal safety aspects are observed. This is my decision made with full awareness of the circumstances and possible consequences."

She said she was fit, healthy, with a trim physique and had "no medical conditions of any nature".

She told media the winning bid, by an unknown stranger, was "way beyond what I dreamed".

"Thank you to the more than 30,000 people who viewed my ad and to the more than 1,200 offers made," she posted on the site.

Though other online auction sites have been outraged at the moral issues surrounding the bid, ineed.co.nz defended the listing and said the site did not place moral judgments on its members.

28-year-old Tarzana woman was found guilty Thursday of a vicious attack on a bikini dancer last year in which she doused the woman with gasoline and set her on fire outside a Tarzana bar.


Rianne Theriault-Odom faces a possible life sentence for the guilty verdicts of one count each of aggravated mayhem and torture. The Los Angeles Superior Court jury found her not guilty of a third count, attempted murder.

"I'm satisfied that the jury listened to all the evidence and obviously deliberated thoroughly and held the defendant accountable," said prosecutor Marcus Musante, with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. "All you can ask for is that justice be carried out."

The victim, Roberta Dos Santos Busby, sat in the Van Nuys courtroom with her mother and aunt and quietly listened as the verdict was read, while looking down and holding a tissue to her tear-stricken face. The Simi Valley woman spent five months in the hospital and underwent 30 operations since the Feb. 5, 2009 attack, and the burn scars were still strikingly visible on her legs and face as she sat in the courtroom.

The defendant listened to the verdict in silence, at times biting her lips.
Minutes before the jury entered the courtroom to read the verdict, Theriault-Odom's public defender, Lenny Jacobs, approached Busby and her mother and aunt to console them. She told Busby she had been courageous throughout the ordeal.

"You're incredible," Jacobs told Busby.
"I just want it over," Busby replied.
Jacobs, who was holding back her own tears and brought tissues to Busby's mother, would not comment to the media after the verdict.

William Ferris. The Ohio man yesterday paid a prostitute $50 with the understanding that he would receive a full menu of sexual services in the bathroom of a White Castle in Cincinnati.

However, when the hooker only performed oral sex on him, Ferris--who was also expecting vaginal sex--contacted police to report that he had just been robbed. When Hamilton County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to Ferris's 911 call, his "story began to fall apart," according to an arrest report.

Ferris admitted that he was not, in fact, robbed by his unidentified paid date. In an interview, a frustrated Ferris told TSG that he expected "all of it for $50," but just got "kissing and sucking" during the 20-minute bathroom encounter.



He added that the hooker picked the White Castle for their assignation since its bathroom locked (and not because of the eatery's tasty belly bombers). The unemployed Ferris, charged with solicitation and making a false police report, was scheduled to be arraigned today on the misdemeanor counts. He told TSG that he will be charged with trespassing if he returns to the White Castle on Harrison Avenue.
