The Stoughton police chief says a decorated patrolman installed a laser sight on his service weapon against department policy, deserted his patrol to meet a woman billed as “the world’s smallest porn star,” then lied about it all in an internal investigation prompted by his peers.

Officer Richard P. Bennett, who just last month received a commendation for his work in a March murder case, has resigned rather than face disciplinary action, Police Chief Paul Shastany said.

“Momma told me there would be days like this,” Shastany said. “We are not red-faced. In fact, I am pretty proud (other officers) stepped up.”
Bennett, 28, of Fall River, submitted his one-paragraph resignation letter to Town Manager Francis T. Crimmins on June 30.

His resignation came 10 days after he made an on-duty, in-uniform visit during a graveyard shift to Club Alex’s Gentlemen’s Club, where 3-foot-9-inch adult-film star Bridget “The Midget” Powers was making a guest appearance.

A grand jury hands down a number of charges against an exotic dancer, accused of running down a client with her car, dragging him for a mile, and killing him. Kristina Hensley did not stop.

Butler County Prosecutor Robin Piper announced new indictments today against 35-year-old Kristina Hensley, from Higginsport, Ohio. She worked as a stripper for a company called Naughty Bodies.

She was the driver of an s-u-v which struck Monroe resident, 31-year-old Jae Cho, in front of his Timrick Place home.

Investigators say ''something" happened inside that home causing Hensley to leave quickly, but that Cho followed her to the street.

Somehow Cho became trapped under her vehicle and dragged for over a mile until Hensley stopped at a gas station on Hamilton-Lebanon Road. Cho died at the scene.

This all happened back in early August. Hensley was initially charged only with failure to stop at the scene of an accident. But today she faces felony charges that could possibly put her in prison for life... two counts of murder, aggravated robbery, failure to stop after an accident, and theft.

Kansas City police arrested an exotic dancer early today after she allegedly stabbed another dancer during an argument at closing time.
The stabbing occurred about 2:45 a.m. at Baccala, 4704 Independence Ave., the former site of Gerry’s Silver Slipper. The suspect used an eyeliner wand or pencil in the attack, said Gary Majors, manager of the city’s regulated industries division.

The 27-year-old victim suffered four wounds and was treated and released from a hospital. Police arrested the 29-year-old suspect. Detectives were planning to give the case file to prosecutors today for consideration of criminal charges.

Police said they don’t know exactly what prompted the argument, which did not occur onstage but rather in a back room as the women were changing clothes.

The club changed its name last year after a series of violent incidents, including a double homicide in the parking lot, a shooting involving a security guard and a fight outside involving 20 people, several of whom were stabbed. The city suspended the club’s liquor license for 66 days last summer for multiple ordinance violations.

The newly named club opened sometime after Dec. 16 and its website describes it as, “A cut above the rest. A laid back Hip Hop and R&B atmosphere (sic.)” The site also says: “From batchular (sic) parties to birthday parties we can accomodate (sic) your needs.”

PHOENIX - A man started shooting inside a strip club, killing two people and wounding two others, including a topless dancer, before patrons wrestled the gunman to the floor, police said Monday.

Gavin MacFarlane, 28, of Scottsdale, opened fire at the Great Alaskan Bush Company shortly before midnight Sunday before he ran out of ammunition and was tackled, police said.

Police Sgt. Trent Crump said MacFarlane told detectives that he had a "personal agenda" but didn't immediately provide further details about his motive.

Troy Cooley, 34, a security guard at the west Phoenix club, was shot and killed. A club patron, Antonio Garcia, 20, also died. A 22-year-old man and the 20-year-old dancer were wounded.

FRANKLIN, Wis., April 1 (UPI) -- Police in Wisconsin said a man who visited a gentlemen's club called 911 to report a pair of strippers had failed to show up at his motel room as promised.

Franklin police said the 37-year-old Illinois man told them he spent $1,000 on lap dances from two exotic dancers at the On The Border gentlemen's club Sunday night, and the women promised to visit his room at a local motel later in the morning for "on the house" lap dances, Wauwatosa (Wis.) Now.com reported Thursday.

The man called police at 1:26 a.m. Monday to report the strippers hadn't shown up and he felt he had been cheated.
