I don't think there are many betting guys in here, but how shady was the end of the Pittsburgh game? Since the game was officially over, was there any need to review that play OTHER than to take points off the board so the Steelers wouldn't cover?

Calling off that touchdown saved legal bookies $64M in payouts. Think about it. If this was the NBA people would be calling for a congressional investigation.

There's a weak argument for the point differential tie breaker. It's way down the list, but it could be a reason.

I'm not defending McNabb here, but I don't think many players know that for some reason. Almost every Eagle player that was interviewed didn't know that was the case. If they did, they just found out by asking one of the assistants on the sideline. I remember back at the last Eagles tie, Irving Fryar was on the team and had a talk show at the time. He said the same thing, he and the other players on the team thought they went out and played another OT period. Vaughn Hebron does a local post-game show here, and he didn't know the rule either.

I think the players just know how to count their money.

The guy on the radio here (just some crappy rock station, not a sports show) was just talking about that, he also mentioned that the refs came back today and said they made a mistake with that call.
