I bought a Fender Deluxe Drive bridge. 14.4K and Alnico III magnets. Interesting specs.

They sound loud, clear and bright with a good amount of drive. I have been kicking around the idea of a high resistance pickup with A3 magnets for the last couple of years so it's interesting that Fender is now jumping on the bandwagon. Basically they are trying to keep the sound open and responsive under high gain.
