Manny Pacquiao finally has his day. Unfortunately it isn’t with the opponent he wanted it with. The Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather did not happen due to Pacquiao’s unwillingness to submit to Olympic style testing.
What was Pacquiao afraid of? If he nothing to hide a few drops of blood wouldn’t hurt him, he would have lost a lot more blood if he stepped into the ring with Floyd Mayweather .
Mayweather continued to take the high road in this situation releasing this statement in December “I understand Pacquiao not liking having his blood taken because, frankly, I don’t know anyone who really does. But in a fight of this magnitude, I think it is our responsibility to subject ourselves to sportsmanship at the highest level.
I have already agreed to the testing and it is a shame that he is not willing to do the same. It leaves me with great doubt as to the level of fairness I would be facing in the ring that night.”
Seeing Manny Pacquiao has ducked Floyd Mayweather he will meet with Joshua Clottey meet tonight with the WBO Welterweight title on the line. The fight takes place at Jerry Jones’ new Cowboys Stadium.
I am predicting an easy win for Manny Pacquiao, I am just wondering if he is having any help in the ring. Maybe he is eating kittens again maybe something stronger. He could stop all speculation with a couple of drops of blood, why he won’t come before his clean is beyond me. Hopefully he will before his next fight. Hopefully that next fight is finally Floyd Mayweather .
