Over 60 Varieties Of Beer Will Highlight The Big Brew Beer Festival In Somerset, NJ.

Beer lovers and music fans of the “Jersey Sound” are gearing up for the Big Brew Beer Festival coming to the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset May 4th & 5th.

Dozens of different breweries from around the nation and world will be showcasing their unique libations. It will be the perfect opportunity for beer aficionados and beer lovers to speak to brewery representatives and discover new beers.

“I could not be more pleased with the list of participating brewers. They all bring unique beers to the table and an enormous passion for brewing,” said festival organizer Allison Kohler of JMK Events. “The Big Brew Beer Festival will offer event goers a diverse group of beers to choose from including popular brands and craft beers.”

There are three action-packed sessions starting Friday from 7 to 11 pm with a live Mariachi Band to celebrate Cinco de Mayo followed by the popular Jersey band, The Nerds.

From 12 noon to 4pm on Saturday, the festival kicks off with a live Mariachi Band and music from the Tropical Storm Band.

On Saturday night, the event rocks out from 6 to 10pm with Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. Southside Johnny is often referred to as the “Grandfather of the Jersey Sound”.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the 200 Club of Middlesex County, an organization dedicated to supporting members of local, county and state law enforcement agencies, fire departments and first aid & rescue squads. The organization provides financial assistance and comfort to families of law enforcement and public safety officials who are killed or disabled in the line of duty.
