The Beastie Boys rocketed to stardom with the rock-rap hybrid hit “Fight For Your Right To Party”. Not only did the song become an instant hit on Mtv but became the blueprint rock-rap music for years to come.
Yauch had a two year battle with cancer. Sadly he lost that battle just yesterday. He will be missed by his friends, family, fans and collaborators of for the past 30 years Mike D (Michael Diamond) and Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz).
Adam MCA Yauch left us with one last gem the 2011 release “Hot Sauce Committee Part Two”is an great listen as are all Beastie Boys albums. Sleep weel MCA and thanks for the hits. .
