This Sunday marks the end of Season 6 for “Mad Men’s” Don Draper and Co. and we still have so many unanswered questions – will Megan leave Don? Will Megan live to see Season 7? Sunkist or Ocean Spray?
Let’s face it we love watching the lives of these morally bankrupt people unfold before our eyes. Even bratty little Sally Draper is starting to sprout demon horns and head down the road of depravity and lies paved by her Mom and Dad.
So what is the appeal of these depraved characters? I think is the period we are in love with more than any character. A time when all men wore a suit to work, every homemaker was a beauty queen and the cocktail was king. So as you settle in for tonight’s season finale here are a few Mad Men inspired cocktails from our friends at Jim Beam.

This cocktail suggestion is from the staff of TMRZoo.com. Tonight the staff of Sterling Cooper will have their Sunkist or Ocean Spray showdown. Lines will be drawn and allegiances will be challenged. However, there is no reason why these two accounts cannot coexist at Sterling Cooper as well as they unite in a glass with Jim Beam’s “Jacob’s Ghost”.
The Sterling Cooper Madras
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Jim Beam “Jacob’s Ghost”
- 3 oz Ocean Spray cranberry juice
- 1 oz Sunkist orange juice
Preparation: Pour the Jim Beam “Jacob’s Ghost” and Ocean Spray cranberry juice into a highball glass. Stir well. Top off with Sunkist orange juice.
