Cincinnati Bengals Sign Tyler Eifert to Four-Year Contract

Reports out of Cincinnati are that the Bengals sign Tyler Eifert to a rookie deal… if they haven’t already. Cincinnati.com has reported that the contract will be for four years and worth around $8.256 million. The signing will lock up the last of the Bengals’ 10 draft picks from the 2013 NFL Draft.

Eifert was the Bengals’ first pick in the Draft and the 21st overall. He holds Notre Dame’s record for passes caught by a tight end and, based on his off season work so far, is expected to make an immediate contribution to the team.

After the Bengals sign Tyler Eifert, it will leave only 19 players from the first round unsigned. You can guess who you think will be the very last to sign in our First Picked/Last Signed contest. Click here to enter the contest.

Is that Tyler Eifert and Marvin Lewis holding up an Ocho Cinco jersey? You know, with an official name change there would be a good number of old jerseys becoming relevant once again.
