WaterTower Music and Game of Thrones composer Grammy nominee Ramin Djawadi (Iron Man, Prison Break, Pacific Rim) have unveiled his latest soundtrack for the HBO series just in time for what’s sure to be a heart-stopping season finale on June 9. Djawadi composed the score for this album, which offers fans three different versions of the Game of Thrones theme – two of them previously unreleased. “Dark Wings, Dark Words” is a downtempo choir version of the theme, and “For The Realm” is a solo guitar version of the theme performed by Djawadi himself. Included in the soundtrack are some special guest appearances by indie outfit The Hold Steady for “The Bear and the Maiden Fair” and Kerry Ingram who plays Shireen Baratheon for“It’s Always Summer Under the Sea.”
The series is going into hibernation for the summer, but you can continue to make everything seem epic with the soundtrack… which you can check out via the free stream below:
