The Griffins and the Simpsons are finally meeting up. This five-minute clip Fox released from Family Guy’s crossover with The Simpsons is simply pretty boring. Maybe it is because the Griffins go to Springfield and they take on the safer characteristics of Homer and Marge.
The antics of the Family Guy are much bluer that The Simpsons. The hard drinking, pot smoking, S&M loving Griffins seem to be tamed down. This could have been much finnier with let’s say Brian sniffing Marge in bad areas. Or maybe if Peter and Lois introduced Homer and Marge to the world of pot smoking and bondage.
The creators instead decided to go with a Duff swilling, donut eating episode with a cheap rip-off of Peter’s famous chicken fight. This could have been great, sadly it doesn’t even look good.
