Gadget Review: Accell DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 Adapter

This is one of the shortest and easiest reviews we’ve ever done.  It’s nice when something works as intended without needing to consult a manual or research how to use it.  Meet the Accell DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 adapter, and it works exactly as described.  I plugged it into a full-size DisplayPort on my docking station at work, then added my own HDMI cable on the other end.  No fuss, no issues, just a perfectly clear 1080p display.

The adapter supports full 4k (4096×2160@60hz and 8 bit color), and is 6″ long.  The female HDMI port on the adapter makes it easy for me to use my own HDMI cable of any length.   All in all, it’s a no fuss cable that has a great quality feel to it.  Not a single Accell cable or adapter has failed me yet, which speaks to the build quality.  Check out our video review for full impressions on the product and an unboxing.
