I'm actually fine with it. To be honest, there were quite a few plays last season (which included 2 blown coverages for TDs in the conference championship game) where I said out loud "stick a fork in him". The whiny pussies on sports radio this week won't be as sensible though. He should have just retired.

I don't understand the Pats letting both Cassel and Vrabel go for just 1 second-round pick. I guess they franchised Cassel in the hopes of getting 2 first rounders but nobody bit.

You are not supposed to fanchise with the intent to trade anyway. Cassel didnt mind them dong that to him becasue he gets 14 million. It was a shit trade on the Pats end a lot of hoopla and mystery for nothing. Once again the Patriots make thier own rules.

I can't see the Chiefs NOT tearing up that contract and redoing his deal. They'll probably give him a 5-year deal for much less cash per year, but more guaranteed.

I think something else is up with this deal. A think a few teams would have given up a higher pick for Cassell. Hell, the Lions have two first rounds and the first pick in the second. I would think they could have made a better offer.
Will it blend? That is the question.

Denver wanted him bad. I think a young proven QB is worth a first rounder, wait to see part 2 of this trade in the draft whe NE trades up to KCs pick.

TO to the Dolphins? Parcells likes him and brought him into Dallas, Miami has the cap space and they need a #1 receiver. Plus all of the Dallas players seem to end up in Miami these days.

T.O is now available. Wonder if Al Davis will take him.

Roy Williams (S) has just been cut by the Cowboys. Don't know what anybody can do with him. Guy cannot defend the pass and he's not a great tackler.
