It’s now 4:30 here on the East Coast and social networking giant site Facebook has been down for most of the afternoon. The only message on the site is Service Unavailable – DNS failure, “The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try again later.”
So I’m sitting here at work, the afternoon is almost over and I have no idea what my Facebook friends are all having for dinner or what shows they can’t wait to watch on TV tonight. I’m also totally in the dark regarding who is FML’ing themselves today.
I don’t know what to do to pass these last few hours of the work day!

Oh, Facebook’s Twitter page says “Facebook may be slow or unavailable for some people because of site issues. We’re working to fix this quickly.” Wait, Facebook has a Twitter page? WTF? How has this not ripped a hole in the fabric of reality yet?
If this keeps up for much longer I may actually have to talk to my kids and wife tonight instead of posting a message on their wall. Are internet porn sites still up?…
