Batman: Arkham City Using Games for Windows Live After All

Those gamers who own Xbox 360′s and plays PC games can rejoice, as Batman: Arkham City will enjoy Games for Windows Live support after all, like Arkham Asylum did before it. It had been rumored that Arkham City dropped GFWL support.

VG247 confirmed this after questioning a Warner Bros. Interactive official, who told them:

“Arkham City is indeed a G4WL title.”

Being Games for Windows Live not only allows players to see and send messages to friends on Xbox Live, but it also grants Achievements, fattening that Gamerscore – all while enjoying the superior graphics of the PC version. The best of both worlds, as it were.

Batman: Arkham City will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America on October 18 and October 21 worldwide.
