Apple Inc has released a statement say their co-founder Steve Jobs died Wednesday. He was 56. Apple issued this brief statement.
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today,” the company said in a brief statement. “Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.”
We can thank Steve Jobs for many innovations but I am most thankful for the iPod. Those of you that were not kids in the 80’s can’t truly appreciate the technology leap from the cassette walkman to the iPod. Thanks a lot Steve and sleep well.
