Pre season football is all about coaches making sure they have the best man at every position. One of the most important positions if not the, is Quarterback. While there is no QB controversy in Denver there are questions about the durability of future hall of famer Peyton Manning. If Peyton should go down Denver needs to make sure they have a solid back up in place.
Manning will most likely take snaps in the first quarter giving the coaches the rest of the game to evaluate Caleb Hanie, Brock Osweiler and even maybe Adam Weber. The 49ers are not settled in the secondary so expect a pass happy game from the Denver Broncos QBs.
San Francisco 49ers on paper have one of the most lethal offences in the NFL. With stud running back Frank Gore, TE Vernon Davis, Micheal Crabtree, Mario Manningham, Ted Ginn Jr. and Randy Moss at the wide receiver position this team is stacked. Expect to see a lot of Manningham, Ross and Quarterback Alex Smith, the San Francisco 49ers will use this game to work on chemistry.
