Forget the Champagne, Go With the Bold Choice This Valentine’s Day, Jim Beam Cocktails

With Valentine’s Day around the corner we thought we would share some conventional wisdom with you. Traditional Valentine’s Day celebrations typically will be adorned with a bottle of champagne or wine. Simple, elegant and simply boring.

Show that you are a man of originality, passion and style. This Valentine’s Day break out a bottle of bourbon. Take a trip back in time to the golden age of cocktails.

We received these great Valentine’s Day cocktail recipes from our friends at Jim Beam. Show your Valentine you are different and exciting. Unlike her last few admirers who arrived at her door with drugstore chocolates and a bottle of champagne. If you must bring champagne make sure you are mixing it with Jim Beam.

Kissing Punch

Ingredients:

  • 2 part Red Stag by Jim Beam™ Bourbon
  • 1 part Strawberry Liqueur
  • 1 part Passion Fruit Juice
  • Champagne

Preparation: Pour all but champagne into a punch bowl with large balls of ice*. Have champagne on ice beside punch bowl. To serve, ladle mixture into Champagne Flutes and top with Champagne. Garnish with a strawberry or lemon twist on the rim.”

Honey Be Mine

Ingredients:

  • 1 part Jim Beam Honey
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves

Preparation: In an Old Fashioned Glass muddle the lemons first then the mint. Fill glass with loosely crushed ice, add whiskey and stir.

Garnish with a lemon wedge on the rim.
