These days, it's considered about as archaic!
That said, in this day of paddle shifters, steering wheel-mounted stereo controls, and backup-sensored hybrids, there's something gloriously visceral about a carbureted 462ci (7.5L) V8, a 4 speed, no A/C, no power brakes, no stereo, and window cranks.
