Kitten eating rumors continue to haunt Manny Pacquiao. We reported before the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Manny Pacquiao that never took place that Manny Pacquiao had tested positive for dander. Dander is a substance found in kitten fur. It has been long reported that boxers have been eating kittens for their performance enhancing qualities.
One boxer interviewed for our story was quoted as saying “eating kittens will give you better results than HGH, steroids or any other performance-enhancing drugs.”
Unlike human growth hormone, kittens previously were almost impossible to detect. New Olympic-style random drug testing by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency can now detect traces of kitten fur in an athlete’s blood .
Floyd Mayweather Jr had commented that if you look closely at some pictures of Pacquiao you can still see kitten fur in his teeth. Pacquiao denied all and any use of kittens and agreed to additional testing administered by a regulatory agency like the Nevada Athletic Commission. Sometimes if an athlete pats a kitten before testing it has been known to give a false positive. Pacquiao claims this is the case.
Floyd Mayweather Jr dismissed this defense by Pacquiao. Mayweather said “this isn’t his first day in the ring. Anyone who has boxed or been around boxing knows a boxer shouldn’t go near kittens for up to 6 months before a big fight”.
Pacquiao called Mayweather’s comment “folklore and superstation” and said “he knows plenty of boxers that pat kittens right up to the night before the fight”. “It doesn’t affect you in any way” said the Fighting Pride of the Philippines.
The blogashere is once again buzzing with claims of Manny Pacquiao eating kittens as we approach the Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito fight. Boxing analysts say there is no way Manny Pacquiao can possible beat the much larger Antonio Margarito unless he has an edge. That edge is suspected to be kittens.
Manny Pacquiao is not the first athlete or celebrity we have seen tied to kitten eating. Take a look of this list of suspected kitten eaters here.
