Just as we speculated, the first round picks from the 2013 NFL Draft are signing their contracts at a fast and furious rate. Yesterday we reported that there were 11 first rounders left to sign, today it is down to four!
The only players left that haven’t signed their rookie contracts are first overall pick Eric Fisher (Kansas City Chiefs), seventh overall pick Jonathan Cooper (Arizona Cardinals), and ninth and tenth overall picks Dee Milliner (New York Jets) and Chance Warmack (Tennessee Titans). Three of the remaining four are offensive lineman, a popular pick in this year’s draft, and Milliner is a corner back.
There are only four options left in our First Picked/Last Signed Contest, so you better start stacking the deck while you still can. Click here to get to the contest entry page. You have a chance to win a light-up cornhole bean bag toss game if you pick the correct player that will be the very last to sign.
According to the entries so far, the favorite is obviously first overall pick Eric Fisher… but feel free to stack the deck with daily entries for one of the dark horses. There may not be many more chances left in this contest.
