Media Take Out posted today “your fav player on the Los Angeles Lakers gets caught up in gay sex scandal… they got him on tape!” The site included a link to porn site Xtube.com. From all descriptions the alleged Kobe Bryant gay sex video is extremely graphic. Following that link now shows a message that the clip was removed due to a cease and desist order. Typically a cease and desist order can only be served if there is some type of copywriter or ownership claim to the media.
A cease and desist order can also be applied if the video was obtained in a criminal manner, a phone was stolen or hacked. Never the less it looks like Kobe Bryant’s lawyers are involved and they don’t want anyone to see the video. I wonder why?
If the video isn’t Kobe they can debunk the claim it is their client very quickly and this all goes away.
The one thing I personally take offensive in this whole matter is Media Take Out referring to Kobe Bryant as my favorite Laker player. Truth be told I hate the Lakers, if I was to pick a favorite Laker player of all time it would be Magic Johnson or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
That gets me thinking if this is actually Kobe Bryant and a porn company like Vivid Video gets a hold of it do you think they will call it “The Lakers Real Magic Johnson” or maybe some pun about ball handling? One could only think they would go that route.
This isn’t Kobe Bryant’s first sex scandal so I am sure he has the team in place to handle this matter. For now we will just have to wait and see what develops. You can check out Media Take Out’s original post and the fan comments here.
