During his show this morning on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Howard Stern mentioned a video he viewed on YouTube that thoroughly moved him. The video featured a montage of “troubling” Artie Lang moments as recorded by the Stern Show during some of his “low” times en route to the rock-bottom… a suicide attempt a few weeks ago.
Howard mentioned Johnny Cash’s rendition of the song specifically, but I would think that the Nine Inch Nails (NIN) version would be more appropriate in this situation. You can decide, because both videos are posted below for your viewing pleasure:

Artie has since been released from the hospital after a week-long stay and executives at Sirius/XM have confirmed that Artie still has a job with their company and the Howard Stern Show.
